2008 Sonoma Valley 'Montecillo" Cabernet Sauvignon
The fruit for my Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon comes the much heralded Montecillo Vineyard -- a 45 year old vineyard located 1500' above the heart of Sonoma Valley. If you like bold, rich Cabernets, you should love this wine. It is a chocolatey wine full of dark fruits, heavy tannins, perfect balance, and a lovely aroma. A small amount of Sonoma Valley Merlot was added to soften the mid-palate and round out this ageworthy wine. Only 179 cases produced.
Cheers!
Eric Keating
