Keating Wines only Napa Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the much heralded Beckstoffer Georges III vineyard on the valley floor of Rutherford. The aroma and flavor of my second vintage of this wine epitomizes what's become known as "Rutherford Dust." 347 cases produced.

The fruit for my Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon comes the much heralded Montecillo Vineyard—a 50 year old vineyard located 1500' above the heart of Sonoma Valley. 220 cases produced.
2009 Encomium
Encomium (Latin) means "enthusiasm and warmth in praising a person or thing." I chose one barrel of my Sonoma 'Montecillo' Cabernet and one barrel of my Napa Beckstoffer Georges III Cabernet to produce a total of 50 cases. The 2009 Encomium has been dedicated to my late Uncle Jimmy.
2010 Dry Creek "Buchignani" Zinfandel

This 100% single vineyard designate Zinfandel comes from the two-acre dry farmed Buchignani vineyard, located just east of Dry Creek Road. Zinfandel lovers will appreciate the flavors of strawberry jam exploding from the glass along with hints of raspberry and basil. 225 cases produced.
2010 Sonoma Valley "Montecillo" Zinfandel
This single vineyard designate Zinfandel comes from the Montecillo Vineyard in the Mayacamas mountain range on the east side of Sonoma Valley. The high elevation (1500') along with the rocky, rugged terrain lead to a very structured Zinfandel with a splendid combination of powerful fruit and stony minerality. 175 cases produced.
2008 Rockpile Malbec

The latest blend of our signature wine, the Rockpile Malbec, is a blend of 75% Malbec and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Petite Verdot. Another very limited production wine. Only 95 cases produced.
2009 Rockpile Petite Sirah
My Petite Sirah is sourced from the Rockpile AVA in northern Sonoma County. Overlooking Lake Sonoma, this vineyard sits well above the fogline giving the Petite Sirah maximum sun exposure. The slightly cooler temperatures than the nearby Dry Creek Valley allow for longer hang time and fruit development. 95 cases produced.
2009 Sonoma Valley Merlot
This big, bright Merlot comes from the Bedrock vineyard located on the valley floor in the heart of Sonoma Valley. I blended in 21% Cabernet Sauvignon to add tannins and weight to this elegant, fruit-forward Merlot. 220 cases produced.
