2009 Sonoma Valley "Montecillo" Zinfandel 90 points
This single vineyard designate Zinfandel comes from the Montecillo Vineyard in the Mayacamas mountain range on the east side of Sonoma Valley. The high elevation (1800') along with the rocky, rugged terrain lead to a very structured Zinfandel with a splendid combination of powerful fruit and stony minerality. 275 cases produced.
2008 Beckstoffer Georges III Cabernet Sauvignon 94 points
Keating Wines only Napa Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the much heralded Beckstoffer Georges III vineyard on the valley floor of Rutherford. The aroma and flavor of my inaugural vintage of this wine epitomizes what's become known as "Rutherford Dust". 341 cases produced.
2009 Dry Creek "Buchignani" Zinfandel
100% of the fruit for my inaugural Zinfandel comes from the two-acre dry farmed Buchignani vineyard, located just east of Dry Creek Road. Zinfandel lovers will appreciate the flavors of strawberry jam exploding from the glass along with hints of raspberry and basil. 275 cases produced.
2008 Encomium 90 points
Encomium (Latin) means "enthusiasm and warmth in praising a person or thing." I chose one barrel of my Sonoma 'Montecillo' Cabernet and one barrel of my Napa Beckstoffer Georges III Cabernet to produce a total of 50 cases.

The latest release of my Rockpile Malbec is a blend of 80% Malbec and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Only 200 cases produced.
2007 Rockpile Petite Sirah 91 points
My Petite Sirah is sourced from the Rockpile AVA in northern Sonoma County. Overlooking Lake Sonoma, this vineyard sits well above the fogline giving the Petite Sirah maximum sun exposure. The slightly cooler temperatures than the nearby Dry Creek Valley allow for longer hang time and fruit development.
2008 Sonoma Valley Merlot
This big, bright Merlot comes from the Bedrock vineyard located on the valley floor in the heart of Sonoma Valley. I blended in 7% Cabernet Sauvignon to add tannins and structure to this already hearty Merlot.
